There are cruelty free substitutes for basically everything now! No longer do you have to give up ice cream, meat, leather, etc. to go cruelty free!

Many products such as sorbets, jam/jelly, fries and potato chips are secretly free from animal products even though you would never expect them to be! Even things such as "meat" gravy and many jellies surprisingly don't have any animal products in them. When used in gravy the term "meat" usually refers to it being FOR meat rather than being FROM meat which is admittedly very confusing and misleading.

Contrary to the common misconception, most breads are made without dairy or eggs - however there are some breads such as pizza bases and naan breads that are made with dairy products in them but if you need to make them for anything, there is many dairy free recipes available online.

As for meat substitutes, they are slowly becoming more and more available and the price of them is going down. There's also many other products popular around the world that are similar to meat but not intentionally; Falafels are a popular meat-like dish from the Middle-East, Greece & Morocco, Tofu is another meat-like dish that is popular in Asian countries such as China. Another natural substitute becoming really huge in popularity is the Jackfruit which supposedly tastes identical to pulled pork and originates from the South of India.

It's also important not to forget the lifestyle side of things aswell, many items such as cars, fake lashes, carpets and even glue are made using animal products - these lifestyle items are often forgotten about and for many there is very few substitutes for them.

Apart from this, to live without animal products in today's world is increasingly easy and you really don't have to give up any of the things you love!
