Falafels are a meat-free dish from Morocco, Greece and the Middle-East. They've been a staple dish in these countries for many years however in recent years they've rapidly increased in popularity in the western world. They are a ball shaped food that is usually made from chickpeas however they can also be made with other ingredients such as sweet potato. They are usually served in a pitta or wrap and due to their shape they're great for dipping into sauces such as humus and yogurt. (Dairy Free of course!)

Falafels are now spreading out to other countries and are slowly becoming more and more popular around the globe. They are 100% vegan, health, tasty and easy to make! If they're not available in your area there's many recipes available online which are very easy to make with only a few ingredients so they're definitely worth trying sometime!
