VEGAN FOOD IS SO EXPENSIVE?

There's a common misconception that vegan food is always expensive. This just isn't the case all the time, in the UK faux meats are on many occasions actually CHEAPER than their meat counterpart.

From Tesco you can get a pack of 15 vegetable fingers £1.50, whereas a pack of cod fingers is the same price for only 10. This lower price is also shown in many other products - you can get 4 bean burgers for £1.50 whereas 4 beef burgers will cost you an extra pound more at £2.50. This trend can also be seen in other UK supermarkets such as Asda, Waitrose and Morrisons.

Of course this isn't the same for everywhere - however if you're in Britain, saying it's too expensive is nothing more than a worn out excuse.

These vegetable fingers also taste much better than the cod ones in my opinion, and they're healthier aswell so it seems a no-brainer which is the best choice!
